L+R is pleased to announce that our team of strategists, designers, and engineers will be attending Meta Connect 2025, participating virtually in the pivotal two-day event on September 17-18. The attending group, including Founder and Director of Strategy Alex Levin, Director of Engineering Ivan Leider, Strategist Julia Keller, Designer Ben Weiyang Wu, and Engineers Kelvin Harron and Gautier de Lataillade, will immerse themselves in the dialogue defining the next era of computing, directly informing our leadership in Artificial Intelligence, Spatial Computing, and Strategy Consulting.

Meta Connect is the company's flagship annual event, taking place at their headquarters in Menlo Park, California, and streamed virtually worldwide. It offers a direct look into the next evolution of immersive tech. Led by a keynote from Mark Zuckerberg, the conference showcases their most significant breakthroughs, focusing heavily on the integration of artificial intelligence with wearable technology. Expect major announcements on their latest mixed reality hardware—like the next generation of Quest headsets and new smart glasses—and the official roadmap for creating a more intelligent and interactive metaverse.

Our participation at Connect is a natural extension of our work within the Meta ecosystem. We work closely with Meta's technology, and our contributions include projects like Media View, the top open-source media viewer for the Meta Quest.

This year’s agenda at Connect signals a strategic focus on tangible developer outcomes. We are particularly interested in the deep-dive developer sessions on Generative AI tools and the Meta Horizon OS. Understanding these platforms is key to our work in Design and is critical for redefining modern Application Development. These new toolkits will also shape how we approach Branding & Design within the compelling creative canvases of these new immersive spaces.

A key highlight will be the “Spotlight conversation: the future of computing” with visionaries Michael Abrash and Richard Newcombe. Their discussion on contextual AI and the future of AI glasses provides a look beyond current product cycles and into the long-term vision for ambient computing. These are the foundational concepts that allow us to collaborate with business leaders to define and launch inspiring initiatives through our Strategy Consulting practice.

Our participation in Meta Connect ensures we can translate insight of these emerging technologies into trailblazing solutions for our partners across key sectors like Retail, Health Care, and Media & Entertainment. We look forward to helping our clients embrace the change ahead.
