About the project

L+R worked with Spireworks to open its interactive lighting and donation platform to the entire globe within a custom built live streaming platform in support of the Coronavirus Relief Fund. Donors gained access to the iconic building lights of New York City safely from the comfort of their own home, anywhere in the world. 100% of the money raised went supporting those most vulnerable to the effects of COVID-19, including impoverished communities and essential workers around the world.

The Bottom Line

Spireworks Change at a Distance opened a physical lighting experience to remote donors during a moment of urgent need. The broader challenge is turning distance into participation without losing emotional connection. At L+R, competitive advantage comes from the deliberate intersection of strategy, design, engineering, and craft, with AI treated as a useful collaborator when it serves the problem. If your cause needs a more connected digital experience, bring the business problem to our team.
