We are pleased to announce that Meridian Meetups, our global initiative focused on the intersection of mobile and spatial computing, has been named a Winner at the 15th Annual Lovie Awards. The program was recognized in the "Beyond: Community" category, a distinction that validates our strategic commitment to fostering professional networks in emerging technology sectors.
This recognition from the International Academy of Digital Arts & Sciences (IADAS) highlights the essential role Meridian plays in bridging the mobile app ecosystem with the future of spatial computing. The core hypothesis of Meridian is that the foundational skills of mobile developers and designers—working with tools like Swift for Apple Vision Pro and Kotlin for Meta Quest—are critical to shaping the next generation of spatial applications.
The "Beyond: Community" award specifically acknowledges the rapid, organic growth of this initiative, which we launched a little under a year ago. In that short time, Meridian Meetups has convened thousands of professionals. What began as a local gathering has expanded into a global network, with active chapters in more than five cities, including Brooklyn, Barcelona, Accra, Nairobi, and Lagos, with more launching internationally.
This achievement is a direct result of the dedication of our international community. We extend our sincere appreciation to the Meridian city hosts, our valued partners, and the thousands of members and participants who actively contribute to this platform. Their engagement and collaborative spirit are the energy behind this success, and we look forward to supporting this community's continued expansion.
