L+R participated in the Digital Design Days (DDD) in Milan, Italy from October 6 to 8, 2024, at Superstudio Più in the city’s Design District. The event convened professionals from the digital design community, including designers, developers, entrepreneurs, and marketers, providing a space to explore emerging tools, build connections, and drive business growth.

Throughout the three-day event, topics included UX/UI, Web3, Artificial Intelligence, the Metaverse, AR/VR/MR, Spatial Computing, and Branding Strategy. More than 60 speakers from companies like 2Advanced, Locomotive, Spotify, Netflix, and Fantasy shared insights into current trends in digital design. Speakers such as Cathy Hackl, known for her expertise in spatial computing, and Raffaella Camera, a leader in immersive technologies, contributed to workshops and masterclasses, while interactive installations, including a live AI-driven art performance by Ouchhh, provided attendees with opportunities to engage with new technologies.

L+R’s participation in DDD was a natural extension of its broader efforts to have real in-person connections with those who also push the boundaries of design and technology. The event’s focus on spatial computing, AI, and immersive experiences aligned with L+R’s ongoing work in these areas, offering valuable opportunities to connect with like-minded innovators and thought leaders. Having just released its open-source project in collaboration with Meta during Meta Connect, L+R’s engagement with the community at DDD further reinforced its commitment to advancing the possibilities of spatial computing and immersive technologies. Through our Emerging Technology Accelerator program and newly launched Spatial Computing service line, we are focused on equipping clients to stay competitive and prepared for growth.
