L+R worked with the team at Bond.co, a company acquired by Newell Brands in 2016, leveraging their proprietary robotics, handwriting analysis technology, collaborating with portfolio company Parker Pens™ and strategic partner Crane & Co, to create an experience for individuals and brands looking to digitize personal note writing.
Beautiful Notes Made Easy
The Bond Black App was launched with a hand-selected cohort of 100 users, quickly generating a waiting list of over 5,000, and began on-boarding paying customers within two months of its release. The mobile application is positioned as a member-only, white glove service with custom handwriting, engraved stationary and a personal concierge to purchase gifts and find recipient addresses.
